LYMPHDRAINAGE
Manual lymphatic drainage is a special form of massage with rhythmic movements in certain directions that stimulates the lymph flow and helps to reduce fluid accumulation in the tissue (such as edema or hematomas). This also has a calming effect on the sensitive nerve endings in the skin, which is why many animals find this type of treatment very pleasant and relaxing. This technique is particularly ideal for post-operative regeneration. It improves blood circulation and thus strengthens the immune system.
KINESIOLOGY TAPING
This technique involves applying elastic therapeutic tape to the skin and muscles. This supports muscle function, promotes blood circulation, reduces inflammation and thus alleviates pain. It is often used for rehabilitation after injuries, for recovery after operations, to improve muscle performance and also to treat chronic conditions such as arthritis.
MYOFASCIAL TRIGGER POINTS
Myofascial trigger points are located in the area of muscle, fascia or tendon attachments. These are painful points that are sensitive to palpation. They cause deep, persistent pain, restricted mobility and dysfunction of the affected muscles. Treatment often involves targeted massage techniques.
MASSAGES
Massages are systemic, therapeutic and functional techniques in which the body is treated by means of specific movements. These techniques have various effects on the tissue: they improve blood and lymph circulation and stimulate the release of endorphins by the nervous system. At the same time, they improve sensory input and cause a change in muscle tone (increasing the tone of weak muscles or relaxing tense muscles).
